The Babolat Pure Aero 2026 Tennis Racket (Gen 9) is the ninth generation of one of tennis’s most recognised spin platforms, refined over two years of research and development to deliver measurably better aerodynamics, feel, and spin performance. At 300g with a 100 in² head size and 16x19 string pattern, it is built for players who generate pace and topspin from the baseline and want a frame that amplifies their natural game.
Endorsed by C. Alcaraz and Babolat Tour professionals. Team Babolat pro players may play with a customised or different model than the equipment depicted.
Technology
- Aeromodular 4 - A reworked aerodynamic frame profile with an optimised core and integrated components that reduces drag and increases racket head speed through the swing, resulting in faster acceleration, greater spin, and more powerful groundstrokes.
- NF²-Tech 2.0 - Version 2.0 of Babolat’s natural flax fibre technology, featuring a 100% unidirectional fabric for superior mechanical strength and optimal vibration filtration. Flax patches are strategically positioned to absorb unwanted vibration while transmitting a clean, direct feel to the hand at impact.
- FSI Spin - A combination of an open string pattern, Spin Grommets at 6 and 12 o’clock, and the Woofer System that increases ball-to-string contact time. Together, these elements maximise string movement for superior spin generation and a more controlled, powerful strike.
